I was there for lunch and dinner, watching college football. The wings at lunch were okay, but the halibut tacos for dinner was so good! The service was off the charts! I sent something back (which i hate to do) but i didn’t want the sauce on the tacos. They were so gracious about it and just wanted to make sure I was happy with my food. That spoke volumes to me about the service in this place. I’m just glad to know Fairbanks has such a great spot to watch sports! Plenty of screens, the main games volume is up so you can hear it. A good sports bar!

Yay! A restaurant open on July 4th! Good service, tasty lunch: halibut tacos with red, white and blue tortilla chips (nice touch), green chile cheese elk burger with fries. And, of course, a couple of beers: Cynosure Black Lager and Hoodoo IPA. Although both of our orders were tagged as "spicy", we didn't think they were. Sat at a high top table at the bar area. A solid lunch choice especially if you want to watch a game.

Went a little early on Sunday (around 11:30am). Food came out fast and everything was absolutely delicious. Food smelled as good as it tasted. Our server was so sweet and made our whole visit super pleasant. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and I definitely understand why this place is super popular.

Dena provided excellent service. Halibut tacos were very good. I really enjoyed the sweet potato tots. Husband and brother had wings. They said they were delicious.

I'm kind of surprised the reviews aren't higher than they are. I've only been here once but everything I got was outstanding. The burger was great and the smoked Gouda cheese sticks were the best fried cheese sticks I've ever had anywhere. It's a nice building with typical alehouse vibes and the service was good enough. My food was made correctly. If I'm ever back in Fairbanks, I would definitely go here again.

We've been eating here as a family of 5 for years. I have never taken the time to write a review but wanted to after last nights service. We've had great service first off all the time and the manager of The Banks has gone above and beyond for us a few times. We are vegan so it's always nice to find a place in town that has options for us. Last night's server in the bar was the most authentic , kind and funny gentlemen we've ever had. He interacted with our children as if they were adults, quick, efficient. It's always great having respect go both ways when it comes to service and the Banks has just that. The drinks also always are on point!

The food was all right, the service was great. My fish tacos were pretty good and my sweet potato Puffs were incredible. My husband had the elk burger and he said it was kind of dry and not very flavorful. our server was awesome and very personable and tentative even though they were very busy at the time.

Nice sports bar, plenty of TVs to watch all the games on. The elk burger was tasty, and the beer was good. There is a sit down side too, if you want to have a family lunch or dinner. Overall very pleased with the food and experience!
